Fruit Production
The fruit is similar in shape and size compared to a Yellow Dragonfruit. When the fruit emerges, it turns from green to yellow, then orange. When ready to eat, the color of the flesh is red with white highlights in the center of the fruit. Thorns form on the fruit’s base; however, when ready for harvest, they brush off very quickly before picking. Has a very sweet berry taste.

Is the orange drangon fruit self pollinating or do I need to cross pollinate to get fruit? -
HI Jacob, We have been cross pollinating the Orange dragon fruit ever since we received it. Although we have never allowed it to self pollinate, it most likely requires cross pollination.
